Mobile Hand Clinic for St. Louisans

Megan Carlson and Katherine Wycoff

Megan Carlson and Katherine Wycoff, graduate students in the Washington University Program in Occupational Therapy

Megan Carlson and Katherine Wycoff are graduate students in the Washington University Program in Occupational Therapy.  They commit to taking a mobile hand clinic to medically underserved persons in St. Louis who lack affordable access to such care.  Their plans call for providing simple tools such as splints, treatments including hand exercises, and education for people living with untreated hand conditions.  This will increase the sufferers’ ability to engage in daily occupations and result in improved quality of life.
